Role & Responsibilities

• Complete practical vocational training focused on perfumery.
• Learn to use a personal tablet provided at the start of the training and used throughout the programme.
• Learn assortment and materials management to provide customers with expert, tailored product advice.
• Develop sales skills, apply learned sales techniques, and successfully close sales conversations.
• Learn sales operations and support complaint handling, event preparation, and the implementation of sales-promoting measures.
• Gain insight into merchandise management and learn to understand and manage commercial processes using key figures.
• Develop professionally and personally through regular training and continuously build competencies.
• Take part in a project that provides the opportunity to step into the role of a manager and gain initial leadership experience.
• Attend additional classes at the Bundesfachschule für Parfümerie to deepen specialist knowledge of fragrances and cosmetics.

Qualifications

• Enjoy sales and direct customer contact; confidently approach customers, advise them competently, and create a positive shopping experience.
• Have an interest in current trends, products, and developments in the beauty and perfumery sector and enthusiasm for its assortment.
• Communicate in a friendly, confident, and persuasive manner, with a strong understanding of individual customer wishes and needs.
• Demonstrate teamwork, a performance-oriented mindset, and a sense of responsibility; support colleagues, take reliable ownership of tasks, and work toward shared goals.
• Bring a basic understanding of business relationships and commercial processes, and work in a structured, careful, and solution-oriented way on organisational tasks.
• Hold a successfully completed school qualification and bring a strong willingness to learn and motivation for professional and personal development.
