Role & Responsibilities

• Learn to use a personal tablet provided at the start of the apprenticeship and used throughout the training period.
• Learn assortment and material management to provide customers with expert, tailored advice on products.
• Develop sales skills, apply learned sales techniques, and successfully close sales conversations.
• Learn sales operations and support complaint handling, event preparation, and the implementation of sales-promotional measures.
• Gain insight into merchandise management and learn to understand and manage commercial processes using key performance indicators.
• Develop professional and personal capabilities through regular training.
• Take part in a project that offers the opportunity to step into the role of a manager and gain initial leadership experience.
• Attend additional classes at the Bundesfachschule für Parfümerie to deepen product knowledge of fragrances and cosmetics.

Qualifications

• Enjoy selling and engaging directly with customers; approach people proactively, provide knowledgeable advice, and create a positive shopping experience.
• Show enthusiasm for the beauty and perfumery sectors, including current trends, products, and developments in beauty and fragrance.
• Communicate in a friendly, confident, and persuasive manner and understand individual customer preferences and needs.
• Demonstrate teamwork, drive, and a sense of responsibility; support colleagues, take ownership of tasks, and work towards shared goals.
• Have a basic understanding of commercial relationships and processes, and work in a structured, careful, and solution-oriented way on organizational tasks.
• Hold a school-leaving qualification and show a strong willingness to learn and develop professionally and personally.
