Role & Responsibilities

• Complete practical training primarily in either menswear or women’s shoes.
• Work toward three qualifications: Retail Salesperson (IHK), Trainer Aptitude (AdA) (IHK), and Certified Trade Specialist (IHK).
• Attend block-based classes at Akademie Handel in Munich.
• Use a personal tablet provided during the training programme.
• Develop knowledge of assortment and materials management to advise customers expertly on merchandise.
• Apply sales techniques to guide customer conversations to successful purchases.
• Support sales operations, including processing complaints, preparing events, and implementing sales-promotional measures.
• Gain insight into merchandise management processes and the use of key figures to manage commercial processes.
• Attend regular training for personal and professional development.
• Take on the role of a manager as part of a project.
• After completing the programme, and subject to suitable development, have the opportunity to participate in the internal E. B. Talent leadership development programme.

• Enjoy sales, interacting with people, and pursuing a long-term career in retail.
• Feel at home in the world of fashion; demonstrate trend awareness and a strong sense of style.
• Understand commercial processes and be willing to engage with complex workflows.
• Bring a positive presence and strong communication skills to customer advisory interactions.
• Demonstrate enthusiasm, an independent approach to work, and a sense of responsibility.
• Be willing to relocate nationwide among the company’s locations after successfully completing the Abiturient:innen programme.
• Hold a successfully completed Abitur or Fachhochschulreife.
