Role & Responsibilities

• Learn to use a personal tablet provided at the start of the apprenticeship and used throughout the training period.
• Learn assortment and materials management to provide customers with knowledgeable, individual advice on products.
• Develop sales skills, apply learned sales techniques, and successfully close sales conversations.
• Learn retail operations and support complaint handling, event preparation, and sales promotion initiatives.
• Gain insight into merchandise-management processes and learn to understand and manage commercial processes using key figures.
• Develop professionally and personally through regular training and continuously build competencies.
• Take on the role of a supervisor as part of a project and gain initial leadership experience.
• Attend additional classes at the Bundesfachschule für Parfümerie to deepen specialist knowledge of fragrances and cosmetics.

Qualifications

• Enjoy selling and interacting directly with customers; approach people proactively, advise them competently, and create a positive shopping experience.
• Have a strong interest in the beauty and fragrance industry, including current trends, products, and developments, and a passion for the assortment.
• Communicate in a friendly, confident, and persuasive manner, with a good understanding of customers’ individual wishes and needs.
• Demonstrate teamwork, performance, and a sense of responsibility; support colleagues, reliably manage responsibilities, and work towards shared goals.
• Have a basic understanding of business and commercial processes, and work in a structured, careful, and solution-oriented manner on organizational tasks.
• Have successfully completed school and demonstrate a strong willingness to learn and motivation for professional and personal development.
