Breuninger is seeking a dual student in Fashion Management for a full-time programme combining theory phases at DHBW Heilbronn with practical placements primarily in Purchasing and exposure to related retail functions. The student supports buying and assortment processes, analyses performance and markets, and receives regular professional and personal development training.
Role & Responsibilities
- Completes theoretical study phases at DHBW Heilbronn.
- Undertakes practical company phases primarily in Purchasing, with further exposure to Merchandise Planning, Supplier Management, Logistics and Sales.
- Gains insight into the strategic and conceptual planning, management and implementation of purchasing processes using relevant KPIs.
- Supports buyers with preparation for and follow-up on order appointments, range development and product selection.
- Prepares analyses, evaluates results for performance monitoring and develops proposals for optimisation.
- Monitors current market developments and analyses competitors.
- Attends regular training to support personal and professional development.
Qualifications
- Holds the general higher education entrance qualification, or the subject-specific higher education entrance qualification with a successfully completed DHBW Delta examination.
- Works in a performance-oriented manner and demonstrates strong self-motivation.
- Good knowledge of MS Office (Word, Excel and PowerPoint) is an advantage.
- Demonstrates strong goal orientation and a willingness to learn.
- Shows flexibility and resilience.
- Has a strong affinity for numbers.
- Is passionate about the fashion and lifestyle sector and familiar with current trends.
