Breitling seeks experienced Watchmaker in Wilton or Lombard to service luxury Swiss timepieces with precision and expertise.
Role & Responsibilities
- Service and restore all Breitling timepiece models, including mechanical and quartz movements, in-house movements, ETA-based movements, and modular chronograph movements
- Test timepieces for accuracy and performance using specialized tools and equipment, and regulate timing of mechanical movements
- Record quantities, types, serial numbers, model numbers, and work performed on all serviced timepieces
- Set dials and hands onto watches while maintaining strict manufacturing tolerances
- Execute disassembly and assembly of cases and bracelets with precision
- Collaborate with local management to ensure adherence to quality control standards
- Support management on temporary projects and specialized initiatives as assigned
Qualifications
- WOSTEP, SAWTA, AWCI 21, or equivalent watchmaking certification
- Minimum 2–3 years of professional watchmaking experience
- Demonstrated expertise in escapement and hairspring adjustments
- Proficiency with watchmaking hand tools and precision measuring equipment
- Strong organizational and detail-oriented capabilities
- Computer literacy and familiarity with service documentation systems
Skills
Experience
2–3 years of professional watchmaking experience, preferably with luxury Swiss timepiece brands. Hands-on background in both mechanical and quartz movement repair, with demonstrated proficiency in complex adjustment and regulation procedures.
Education
Formal watchmaking training or apprenticeship with industry certification (WOSTEP, SAWTA, AWCI 21, or equivalent); high school diploma or equivalent required.
