Breitling seeks an After-Sales Service Operator for its service team in Grenchen, performing technical service operations on watches and supporting product quality, reliability and customer loyalty. The role is a temporary 12-month assignment.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Follow all Breitling policies and procedures.
  • Read, review and accurately apply work instructions to ensure customer requirements are met.
  • Disassemble and reassemble watch cases and perform water-resistance tests during maintenance services.
  • Case and recase watches, fit dials and hands, test movement performance, and perform quality control on Breitling products for which the operator has been trained.
  • Complete all service documentation accurately, attaching required test documentation before passing work to the next stage.
  • Contribute to unit productivity while meeting Breitling’s quality, timing and cost standards.
  • Meet agreed weekly production levels in accordance with Breitling’s standard operation times.
  • Perform other reasonable tasks or respond to requests from the workshop manager.

Qualifications

  • Good experience as a watchmaking operator; an AFP diploma is an advantage.
  • Strong concentration and understanding of customer expectations and requirements.
  • Ability to manage objectives and meet deadlines.
  • Team-oriented, proactive and problem-solving approach.
  • Versatility and adaptability.
  • Training in watch case and bracelet assembly is an advantage.
  • Training in dial and hand adjustment is an advantage.
  • Knowledge of Breitling products is a plus.
  • Proven experience working on quality watches.
