Breitling seeks a Watch Polisher in Wilton, Connecticut, to polish and clean cases, bracelets, and buckles on customer, warranty, and stock watches, while meeting quality and productivity standards. Role & Responsibilities
- Polish and clean cases, bracelets, and buckles on customer, warranty, and stock watches to Breitling’s polishing standards.
- Handle watches, accessories, and parts carefully and with attention to detail.
- Independently conduct quality control on polishing work and meet productivity targets to support product excellence and customer satisfaction.
- Develop a thorough understanding of Breitling’s general reference system.
- Manage workflow through Breitling’s computer system and follow company procedures to meet demand and deadlines.
- Maintain a clean and safe working environment.
- Monitor equipment for safety and optimum performance, and report requirements to the manager.
- Communicate regularly with the workshop and After Sales Service department to support service quality.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- High school diploma preferred, or equivalent coursework in a related specialized field.
- 5–7 years of relevant professional experience, preferably in the fine jewelry industry.
- Strong knowledge of steel and precious metals, their properties, and basic finishing techniques.
- Understanding of retail and/or the fine jewelry industry.
- Experience polishing stock watches preferred.
- Attention to detail.
- Strong problem-solving skills.
- Ability to sit regularly and use hands to hold, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; and talk and hear.
- Ability to stand, walk, climb or balance, and stoop, kneel, or crouch occasionally; lift and/or move up to 20 pounds occasionally.
- Close, distance, color, and peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.
