Role & Responsibilities

  • Partner with Creative, Marketing, and Retail teams to transform brand concepts into elevated visual merchandising executions
  • Design and develop window displays, retail animations, and visual concepts that reflect Universal Genève's heritage, identity, and contemporary vision
  • Create original, commercially impactful retail experiences that enhance customer engagement and in-store excellence
  • Develop visual merchandising materials and activation concepts for product launches, special editions, exhibitions, events, and pop-up experiences
  • Oversee the complete lifecycle of visual assets from concept through production, ensuring highest quality standards
  • Coordinate internal ordering processes, production schedules, logistics, and installations for timely delivery of all visual merchandising materials
  • Partner with markets and retail partners globally, providing expert guidance and customized solutions to ensure consistent brand implementation
  • Develop comprehensive visual merchandising guidelines, manuals, and documentation to guarantee consistent brand expression internationally
  • Create and deliver engaging training sessions for retail teams, wholesale partners, and brand ambassadors across all channels
  • Monitor and analyze performance of visual merchandising activations in collaboration with Retail teams to optimize customer engagement and retail performance
  • Manage visual merchandising budget, purchase orders, invoicing, and coordination with logistics, warehouse, procurement, and finance departments
  • Cultivate strong relationships with premium suppliers, production partners, craftsmen, and external agencies to support project execution

Qualifications

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in visual merchandising, retail design, interior design, or architecture within luxury, watchmaking, jewelry, fashion, or premium retail environments
  • Advanced proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign)
  • Strong project management skills and expert knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, particularly PowerPoint and Excel
  • Formal education in visual merchandising, interior design, retail design, or architecture
  • Fluency in English; additional languages such as French, Italian, or German are considered assets
  • Passion for luxury, fine watchmaking, design, and Universal Genève's heritage
  • Strong understanding of aesthetics, materials, design principles, and luxury retail environments
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously with meticulous attention to detail
