Breitling seeks a Senior Salesforce Developer to serve as the technical engine of its Development Squad in Warsaw, Poland. The role demands transforming architectural designs into scalable, high-performance solutions while maintaining uncompromising standards for code quality and security. As a senior individual contributor, the incumbent will drive sprint efficiency through technical clarity, manage complex custom logic using Apex and Lightning Web Components, and provide mentorship to junior developers while balancing advanced programmatic development with a "Click before Code" philosophy.
Role & Responsibilities
- Build complex custom logic using Apex (Async, Batch, Service Layer patterns) and high-performance Lightning Web Components (LWC)
- Provide guidance to the development team through rigorous code reviews, ensuring adherence to enterprise patterns and DRY principles
- Partner with the Solution Architect to validate technical feasibility and support the QA team in achieving 100% test coverage
- Execute secure, high-volume integrations between Salesforce and external systems using REST/SOAP APIs and middleware
- Manage version control (Git) and the deployment pipeline to ensure environment parity and stable production releases
- Perform deep-dive troubleshooting of governor limit issues, concurrency errors, and integration failures requiring senior-level platform knowledge
- Provide guidance to junior and mid-level developers on advanced Apex patterns, debugging techniques, and Salesforce best practices
- Proactively identify and refactor technical debt to ensure the platform remains agile and performant as the business scales
Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years of experience in Salesforce development, including work on global organizations
- Bachelor's or Master's degree, preferably in Computer Science or related field
- Expert proficiency in Salesforce CRM development (Apex, Visualforce, Lightning Components)
- Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
- Deep understanding of Salesforce Enterprise Patterns, Event-Driven Architecture (Platform Events), and REST/SOAP API development
- Experience working in globally distributed teams
- Salesforce Platform Developer I certification (Platform Developer II or JavaScript Developer I certifications advantageous)
- Hands-on experience with CI/CD practices in Salesforce environments
- Understanding of Salesforce integration with Marketing Cloud or other advanced personalization engines (advantageous)
- Experience managing high transaction volumes and complex customer data models
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies and project management practices
