Role & Responsibilities
- Execute all accounting activities in accordance with Polish and IFRS standards, collaborating with external consultants and the Global Tax team on direct and indirect tax matters
- Conduct monthly, quarterly, and annual closing procedures for Breitling Poland's operations
- Prepare tax-related financial statements and ensure adherence to Polish tax regulations and statutory reporting requirements
- Maintain and reconcile the general ledger in compliance with local accounting and tax reporting standards
- Coordinate with internal and external audit teams during audit cycles
- Identify and implement process improvements and data quality initiatives to enhance accounting operations
Qualifications
- 7+ years of professional accounting experience
- Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline
- Demonstrated proficiency in preparing financial statements under both IFRS and local accounting standards
- In-depth knowledge of Polish accounting rules and tax declaration requirements
- Experience preparing documentation for tax authorities
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel
- Fluency in Polish and English (both written and spoken)
- Minimum B1-level proficiency in French or German
- Knowledge of SAP accounting systems
