Breitling seeks a Senior Accountant to manage local accounting operations for its expanding Business Service Center in Poland. The role encompasses full responsibility for Polish and IFRS-compliant accounting activities, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, asset management, and payroll processing. The successful candidate will oversee monthly, quarterly, and annual closing cycles, prepare tax-related financial statements in accordance with Polish regulations, and maintain compliance with direct and indirect tax requirements including VAT, CIT, and withholding tax obligations.
Role & Responsibilities
- Execute all accounting activities in accordance with Polish and IFRS standards, collaborating with external consultants and the Global Tax team on direct and indirect tax matters
- Conduct monthly, quarterly, and annual closing procedures for Breitling Poland's operations
- Prepare tax-related financial statements and ensure adherence to Polish tax regulations and statutory reporting requirements
- Maintain and reconcile the general ledger in compliance with local accounting and tax reporting standards
- Coordinate with internal and external audit teams during audit cycles
- Identify and implement process improvements and data quality initiatives to enhance accounting operations
Qualifications
- 7+ years of professional accounting experience
- Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline
- Demonstrated proficiency in preparing financial statements under both IFRS and local accounting standards
- In-depth knowledge of Polish accounting rules and tax declaration requirements
- Experience preparing documentation for tax authorities
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel
- Fluency in Polish and English (both written and spoken)
- Minimum B1-level proficiency in French or German
- Knowledge of SAP accounting systems

Experience
7+ years of hands-on experience in accounting, including financial statement preparation, tax compliance, and work with Polish accounting rules and tax declaration requirements.
Education
Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
