Role & Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end QA strategy for global e-commerce platforms, covering frontend, backend, integrations, checkout, payments, order flows, and customer communications
- Define and implement an AI-driven QA roadmap including intelligent test case generation, AI-assisted regression testing, self-healing automation, and risk-based test prioritization
- Establish an automation-first testing strategy with strong coverage across regression, integration, end-to-end, API, cross-browser, cross-device, and localization testing
- Ensure robust test coverage for high-impact customer journeys including homepage, navigation, search, product listings, product details, cart, checkout, and transactional workflows
- Drive integration testing across key commerce systems including CMS, PIM, DAM, CRM, ERP, payment providers, fraud prevention tools, and order management
- Evaluate, select, and implement AI-powered QA tools to improve test creation, maintenance, regression execution, and defect detection
- Define QA standards, quality gates, release-readiness criteria, and reporting frameworks for e-commerce releases
- Collaborate with product managers, engineers, architects, DevOps, and business stakeholders to align test coverage with business priorities and technical risk
- Own the defect lifecycle including identification, logging, prioritization, root-cause analysis, and production leakage tracking
- Support UAT planning and execution with business stakeholders, prioritizing test scenarios by customer impact and release criticality
- Monitor and report QA KPIs including automation coverage, regression status, defect leakage, test stability, and production incidents
- Mentor QA engineers and support adoption of modern QA practices, automation engineering, and risk-based testing methodologies
Qualifications
- 10+ years of professional experience in Quality Assurance
- At least 5 years in a Lead QA role
- Proven track record leading QA efforts for Direct-to-Consumer (D2C) projects, CRM systems, clienteling platforms, and e-commerce websites
- Strong knowledge of QA methodologies, frameworks, and best practices with hands-on experience in manual and automated testing
- Experience defining and implementing AI-driven testing strategies including intelligent test generation, self-healing automation, and predictive quality analytics
- Expertise in designing and implementing automation frameworks such as Selenium, Cypress, or Playwright
- Demonstrated expertise in test management tools such as JIRA, Zephyr, or TestRail
- Solid understanding of Agile/Scrum processes and cross-functional collaboration
- Background in ensuring end-to-end quality of consumer journeys covering web, CRM workflows, and omni-channel integrations
- Fluency in English
