Breitling HSE Working Student (50%) position in La Chaux-de-Fonds, Switzerland. Temporary 6-month role supporting health, safety, and environmental management.
Role & Responsibilities
- Participate in the development and continuous improvement of the HSE management system
- Contribute to HSE projects and continuous improvement initiatives
- Conduct safety inspections and site walks across both locations
- Participate in risk analyses and hazard assessments
- Follow up on corrective and preventive actions (CAPA)
- Support internal and external audits and regulatory authority requests
- Update and maintain HSE documentation, guidelines, and procedures
- Organize and support training sessions and awareness-raising activities
- Prepare analyses, presentations, and reports on HSE topics
- Participate in environmental and sustainability initiatives
- Support emergency preparedness planning and safety drills
Qualifications
- Currently enrolled in or recently completed studies in Facility Management, HSE, Environmental Management, Occupational Safety, Building Services Engineering, or related field
- Strong interest in health, safety, and environmental management topics
- Fluency in French (essential); knowledge of English is desirable
- Willingness to travel regularly between La Chaux-de-Fonds and Grenchen
- Ability to work with protective equipment as required in workshop environments
Skills
Experience
Current student or recent graduate with practical interest in HSE field; no previous professional experience required. Candidates with any existing HSE-related internships, coursework projects, or volunteer experience are encouraged to highlight these in their application.
Education
Pursuing or completed studies in Facility Management, HSE, Environmental Management, Occupational Safety, Building Services Engineering, or related discipline.
