Breitling seeks a motivated HSE Working Student to support the development and enhancement of its Health, Safety & Environment management system across its La Chaux-de-Fonds and Granges facilities. This temporary part-time position offers practical experience in occupational health, safety compliance, and environmental management within a renowned international luxury watch manufacturer. The role encompasses security audits, risk assessments, corrective action monitoring, internal and external audit support, HSE documentation updates, employee training coordination, and sustainability initiatives.
Role & Responsibilities
- Participate in the development and continuous improvement of the HSE management system
- Contribute to HSE projects and continuous improvement initiatives
- Conduct security rounds and facility inspections
- Participate in risk analyses and hazard evaluations
- Ensure follow-up of corrective and preventive actions
- Support internal and external audits and regulatory requests
- Update HSE documentation, directives, and procedures
- Organize and support training sessions and awareness activities
- Prepare analyses, presentations, and reports
- Participate in environmental and sustainability initiatives
- Support emergency preparedness and safety exercises
Qualifications
- Currently enrolled in or recently completed studies in Facility Management, HSE, environmental management, occupational safety, building techniques, or equivalent discipline
- Demonstrated interest in health, safety, and environmental topics
- Structured, autonomous, and reliable work methodology
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Fluent in French (essential for the role)
- Ideally possesses English language knowledge (preferred but not mandatory)
- Availability for regular travel between La Chaux-de-Fonds and Granges
