Breitling is seeking an Accounts Payable Specialist in Lijnden to support the Dutch accounting team with general accounting, bookkeeping and closing activities, focusing on Accounts Payable for the Benelux and Europe Ecom markets. The role covers transaction bookkeeping, VAT reconciliation, vendor data and payments, financial reporting, and process and data-quality improvements.
Role & Responsibilities
- Maintain general ledger and sub-ledger transaction bookkeeping.
- Support accounting activities for the Benelux and Europe Ecom markets, including VAT reconciliation.
- Analyze and clear open items to keep financial statements up to date.
- Participate in monthly and quarterly closing activities.
- Handle ad hoc tasks related to process optimization and data quality improvements.
- Assist with financial reporting preparation.
- Maintain vendor master data.
- Prepare and process vendor payments.
- Follow up with vendors on outstanding payments.
Qualifications
- At least 5 years of experience in Accounts Payable, ideally in an international environment, including exposure to the Benelux markets.
- Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Strong analytical and conceptual skills.
- Results-driven working attitude.
- Flair for accounting systems and data management.
- Ability to understand and adapt to changing priorities.
- Advanced knowledge of Excel.
- Fluency in written and spoken English; proficiency in Dutch and French.
- Good knowledge of SAP.
