Breguet seeks Surface Finishing Specialist in L'Abbaye, Switzerland. Lead artisanal finishing and angle grinding for luxury timepieces.
Role & Responsibilities
- Oversee and direct surface decoration techniques including polishing, brushing, and specialized finishing on watch components
- Manage wheel-angle grinding operations to achieve precise technical specifications and Breguet's signature aesthetic standards
- Ensure quality control and consistency across all finishing processes and artisanal techniques
- Train and mentor finishing technicians on advanced surface treatment methodologies
- Coordinate with manufacturing and design teams to align production with heritage quality standards
Qualifications
- Extensive experience in haute horlogerie surface finishing and decoration techniques
- Demonstrated expertise in angle grinding and wheel finishing for precision timepiece components

- Leadership experience in artisanal manufacturing or luxury goods production
- Proficiency in French and English

Experience
Minimum 10 years of professional experience in haute horlogerie finishing, surface treatment, or related artisanal watch component production, with at least 5 years in a supervisory or technical leadership capacity.
Education
Technical qualification in watchmaking, precision mechanics, or equivalent artisanal manufacturing discipline; Swiss apprenticeship training in horlogerie or related field preferred.
