Breguet seeks a seasoned operations manager to lead the Surface Decoration and Wheel Edge Finishing workshop within its Component Finishing division. The role encompasses production oversight, team management, process optimization, and new product industrialization in a luxury watchmaking environment. The successful candidate will drive operational performance across production targets, quality standards, cost management, and delivery schedules whilst fostering continuous improvement and workforce development.
Role & Responsibilities
- Direct daily workshop operations and ensure attainment of production, quality, cost, and delivery objectives
- Lead and mentor workshop teams by leveraging technical specialists and process coordinators
- Support professional development of team members, promoting skill advancement, autonomy, and collective performance
- Participate in recruitment, onboarding, and talent management for the assigned scope
- Define and implement actions necessary to achieve workshop performance targets
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and production process optimization
- Maintain close collaboration with Methods, Quality, Planning, and Manufacturing Engineering departments
- Drive industrialization and deployment of new products, processes, and equipment
Qualifications
- Technical qualification in watchmaking or higher technical diploma (technician or advanced certificate)
- Complementary training in management or equivalent professional experience
- Minimum 7 years of confirmed experience in a management role within the watchmaking industry
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite and knowledge of enterprise resource planning systems, ideally SAP
- Leadership capability and ability to unite and mobilize teams
- Analytical mindset with solution-oriented approach and commitment to continuous improvement
- Excellent interpersonal skills, strong collaborative and negotiation abilities

Experience
Minimum 7 years of confirmed management experience within the watchmaking industry, ideally with expertise in decorative surface finishing techniques and processes.
Education
Technical qualification in watchmaking (Technician or advanced technical certificate) or equivalent. Complementary management training or equivalent professional experience required.
