Boucheron seeks a Training Manager to lead retail training strategy across Europe from Paris on a permanent basis.
Role & Responsibilities
- Develop and implement the Europe training strategy in collaboration with the Client Development & Retail Excellence Manager, International Training team, and Market Directions
- Plan, organize, and coordinate all training sessions across the region according to headquarters guidelines and regional commercial strategy
- Adapt training programmes to specific regional needs using appropriate formats and delivery methods
- Assess and communicate future training needs and adjust strategy based on evolving market context
- Evaluate training impact through key performance indicators and participant feedback in collaboration with store directors to ensure continuous improvement
- Prepare and deliver all training modules (store openings, new hire orientation, product training, launches, sales techniques) for retail personnel across the region
- Support sales teams on commercial priorities—customer satisfaction, client retention, cross-selling, and negotiation—through tailored tools and training to optimize performance and achieve objectives
- Deliver practical training activities (role-playing exercises) to ensure sales messaging mastery across product lines
- Support and mentor commercial teams in event preparation and company initiatives focused on delivering exceptional customer experiences
- Serve as the zone expert for sales teams on Maison Boucheron messaging (history, collections, jewellery and watchmaking techniques, gemmology, Maison sales ceremony)
- Adapt training tools to local specificities and align training scheduling with business needs and retail team rhythms
- Ensure personalized follow-up on training received to develop individual team member trajectories
- Train Area Managers in their role as relay trainers for wholesale teams
- Track all training delivered across the zone and produce regular reporting to Market Directions and International Training team
- Manage and animate the Boucheron e-Learning platform across Europe with monthly monitoring of usage (reporting, follow-ups, engagement activities)
- Establish the annual Europe training budget in alignment with business priorities and action plans
- Monitor monthly budget and spending, including weekly invoice processing and accounting entries
- Execute monthly accruals and semester and year-end closures
Qualifications
- Confirmed experience of 6+ years in the luxury sector with minimum 3 years in training functions
- In-depth knowledge of luxury codes and standards
- Excellent communication and influencing abilities: passionate, pedagogical, persuasive, and empathetic
- Strong interpersonal skills and diplomatic approach in international and multicultural contexts with ability to adapt to diverse European cultures
- Business and client-oriented mindset
- Critical thinking, team spirit, curiosity, and agility
- Bilingual French and English proficiency
- Proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint
- Willingness to travel frequently across Europe

Experience
Confirmed experience of 6 years in the luxury sector with a minimum of 3 years in training or learning and development roles. Experience in the jewellery industry is advantageous. The candidate must demonstrate proven success in designing and delivering training programmes in international, multicultural retail environments and show evidence of managing training budgets and administrative operations.
