Boucheron Store Director — New York: lead the flagship boutique, drive sales and client development. Salary $140,000–$160,000.
Role & Responsibilities
- Define and execute local PCRM and client acquisition strategies to recruit, retain and grow a qualified client base in New York and surrounding markets.
- Develop and sustain a network of influential clients, VICs, celebrities and opinion leaders; conceive and host tailored activations (trunk shows, dinners, private presentations, pop‑ups) in partnership with Retail and Marketing & Communication teams.
- Lead the boutique to achieve sales targets and KPIs set by Leadership; coach and motivate the sales team to convert, upsell and maintain high client service standards.
- Manage store operations including merchandising, stock levels and assortment, visual presentation, loss prevention and adherence to corporate store standards.
- Act as primary local contact for corporate and store teams; provide timely market intelligence and report on performance, incidents and opportunities.
- Oversee human resources activities at store level: recruit and develop talent, conduct training, manage schedules and payroll approvals, and partner with HR on performance reviews.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree.
- 5–8 years of retail supervisory or store‑leadership experience within the luxury sector.
- Proven clienteling and business‑development track record with the ability to build and maintain high‑value relationships.
- Strong leadership and coaching skills; ability to develop team capability and transfer knowledge.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills and the capacity to work a varied schedule including weekends and holidays.
- Willingness and ability to travel locally to execute client activations.
