Join Boucheron in Paris as a Store Design Intern. Contribute to innovative retail environments and sustainability initiatives within the luxury fashion industry.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Assist the team of architects and designers in developing projects related to the evolution of architectural guidelines, furniture, and accessories with a focus on sustainability and carbon footprint calculations.
  • Monitor the evolution of Boucheron's boutiques' carbon footprint, incorporating new methodologies and emission factors.
  • Support the calculation of carbon footprint and the definition of action plans for the store design department.
  • Create moodboards through extensive research of aesthetic images that reflect design intentions.
  • Model new furniture and retail spaces in alignment with ongoing projects to enhance design choices.
  • Encourage innovation and support the team in utilizing AI for design practices, from conception to technical drawing, facilitating tasks and pushing creative boundaries.
  • Manage the distribution of materials and prototypes to various international markets and suppliers.
  • Serve as the point of contact for interior decoration suppliers and manage their inventory dedicated to stores.
  • Participate in organizing committees, creating presentations, and drafting meeting minutes.

Qualifications

  • Degree in architecture, interior design, applied arts, or from a school of fine arts or superior art and design institution.
  • Proficiency in reading plans, technical drawing, and knowledge of interior materials.
  • Fluency in French and English.

Skills

Proficiency in AutoCAD and Photoshop, as well as a modeling software (Rhino, Blender, Keyshot). Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel). Curiosity and interest in contemporary creation with a strong general culture. Sensitivity to materials and aesthetic finishes typical of store design. Strong team collaboration skills in a dynamic and fast-paced environment. Organizational skills, reliability, commitment, rigor, and consistency. Excellent communication skills, both oral and written. Adaptability and ability to navigate complex environments with responsiveness.

Experience

No prior professional experience required, but a strong portfolio demonstrating relevant skills and creativity is essential.

Education

Degree in architecture, interior design, or related field.
