Boucheron in Tokyo seeks a Senior Sales Associate to drive boutique sales, clienteling and staff development in a high-jewelry environment.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Act as an ambassador for the maison, embodying brand values and driving boutique performance through individual sales.
  • Support boutique management in daily operations and decision-making; act in coordination with Regional Management when leaders are absent.
  • Lead and mentor sales staff: proactively develop team selling skills and deliver coaching and performance feedback.
  • Generate and convert high-value business through clienteling, events and external prospecting; lead customer mobilisation for in-store and off-site initiatives.
  • Deliver exceptional, value-added customer experiences and execute CRM initiatives—manage client contact, data collection and follow-up to improve repurchase rates.
  • Achieve targeted high-ticket KPIs, including securing at least one new diamond-level client annually and cultivating two existing diamond relationships each year.
  • Comply with all maison and group policies; participate in daily maintenance tasks (stock counts, displays, back-stock organisation) and periodic inventories, audits and price-update activities.
  • Handle customer service reception duties and propose operational improvements to enhance boutique efficiency.

Qualifications

  • Proven leadership and team-coaching capability within a luxury retail environment.
  • Strong analytical aptitude with the ability to interpret sales data and translate insights into action.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, including giving constructive feedback.
