Boucheron seeks Senior Sales Associate in Nagoya to lead luxury jewelry sales, manage VIP clients, and mentor retail team.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Drive annual sales revenue of ¥250 million and lead boutique toward sales objectives through personal performance and team enablement
  • Act as a maison ambassador, embodying brand values and mission to deliver luxury client experiences with distinctive added value
  • Support boutique management and coordinate with retail managers during management absence; lead judgment and decision-making on operational matters
  • Develop and implement CRM strategies including customer contact, data collection, and repeat purchase rate optimization in collaboration with management
  • Cultivate new high-value relationships with at least one new VIP (Diamond) client annually and strengthen existing VIP relationships
  • Lead in-store and external events; drive customer attendance and external business development activities
  • Mentor and develop sales team's technical skills, ensuring service excellence and consistent application of brand standards
  • Execute daily store maintenance including inventory checks, visual merchandising, and backstock organization
  • Participate in periodic inventory audits, price changes, and compliance reviews
  • Manage customer service reception and propose operational improvements

Qualifications

  • Proven sales excellence in luxury jewelry retail or high-end retail environment
  • Demonstrated leadership and mentoring capability
  • Advanced clienteling and CRM management experience
  • Fluency in Japanese and English (written and spoken)
  • Strong analytical and interpersonal communication skills with ability to deliver constructive feedback
  • Cultural knowledge of French heritage, craftsmanship, and brand philosophy
  • GIA Gemologist (G.G.) certification or equivalent jewelry qualification (preferred)
  • Jewelry Coordinator certification or equivalent (preferred)

Experience
