Boucheron seeks a Sales Associate for its Narita Duty Free boutique in Tokyo, Japan to deliver luxury jewelry experiences and achieve annual sales of ¥100 million.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Act as a maison ambassador, articulating company goals and mission while achieving personal sales objectives
  • Deliver exceptional and distinctive brand experiences at every client touchpoint, prioritizing customer satisfaction
  • Master daily boutique operations and actively propose improvements to business processes
  • Consistently meet monthly sales targets through mastery of product knowledge, consultative selling techniques, and the complete sales journey (greeting, discovery, understanding, conviction, closing, development)
  • Approach client needs and purchase motivation with strategic, solution-oriented sales strategies
  • Handle negotiations and customer concerns with professionalism and composure
  • Maintain currency on industry trends and competitive landscape information
  • Cultivate and nurture client relationships through proactive outreach and meaningful engagement
  • Operate PCRM tools (including DCC and MyCat) to manage client portfolios and prospect pipelines
  • Ensure compliance with all maison and group policies and operational directives
  • Execute daily maintenance tasks including inventory verification, visual merchandising, and backstock organization
  • Participate actively in periodic stocktakes, audits, price adjustments, and other operational initiatives
  • Support customer service reception duties
  • Champion continuous process improvement across boutique operations

Qualifications

  • Demonstrated excellence in luxury high-jewelry retail sales
  • Mastery of consultative selling techniques and client relationship management
  • Proficiency with CRM platforms and retail management systems
  • Comprehensive product knowledge of fine jewelry and luxury goods
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills
  • Strong negotiation and conflict resolution capabilities

Experience

Secondary education minimum; tertiary education in business, hospitality, or a related field is preferred.
