Boucheron seeks a Sales Associate in Paris (Galeries Lafayette) — permanent role delivering luxury client service and driving sales.
Role & Responsibilities
- Drive boutique commercial performance by achieving quantitative targets and key performance indicators (KPIs).
- Apply the Boucheron sales ceremony: conduct in-depth client discovery and present the Maison’s history, universe and creations with authority.
- Maintain rigorous adherence to procedures: update client records, apply discount and security policies, and manage orders and documentation.
- Act as an ambassador of the Maison by upholding grooming standards and the 'Service Palace' level of attention in boutique and external interactions.
- Develop and maintain high-value client relationships through tailored clienteling: personalised follow-ups (mail, email, phone), invitations and event management.
- Update CRM data with precision and use client insights to propose relevant collections and services.
- Initiate and support targeted partnership and acquisition channels (hotels, personal shoppers, introducers) to expand the client base.
- Contribute to daily boutique operations: remain present on the shop floor, ensure boutique presentation and visual merchandising standards, participate in inventories, team meetings and promotional events.
- Manage point-of-sale displays and collateral (PLV) orders and contribute to collective stock management following Maison policies.
Qualifications
- Minimum five years’ experience in a comparable role within a jewellery house, haute couture maison or luxury retail environment.
- Proven track record in department store operations; knowledge of Galeries Lafayette is a strong asset.
- Demonstrable ability to develop, attract and retain a clientele of high potential and to meet ambitious sales targets.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with polished client-facing presence and grooming.
- Proactive, dynamic and solution-oriented with a collaborative team spirit.
- Technical knowledge of jewellery and gemmology; ability to discuss materials, stones and craftsmanship credibly.
- Fluent in French and English; Mandarin is an advantage.
- Availability and flexibility to work department store hours, including weekends.

Experience
Minimum five years in a similar luxury retail role within a jewellery house, haute couture brand or high-end department store; demonstrable success in client acquisition and retention and familiarity with department store operations.
Education
Vocational or professional training in luxury retail, jewellery, gemmology or equivalent professional experience; formal gemmology qualifications are advantageous.
