Boucheron is seeking a Sales Associate in New York to drive jewelry sales, cultivate lasting client relationships and support excellent store operations, including visual merchandising, stock management and POS systems. The role pays a base salary of $28.00–$30.00 per hour.
Role & Responsibilities
- Drive sales through personalized service, understanding client needs and recommending appropriate jewelry pieces.
- Use in-depth product knowledge to present Boucheron collections and communicate the brand’s heritage, craftsmanship and value proposition.
- Meet and exceed sales targets through upselling, cross-selling, product demonstrations and teamwork.
- Maintain accurate sales transaction records and comply with company policies and procedures.
- Represent Boucheron as a brand ambassador, upholding its rules, regulations and reputation.
- Build and maintain long-term client relationships through attentive service, follow-up communications and personalized experiences.
- Engage existing clients to understand their preferences, occasions and milestones, and anticipate their needs.
- Use CRM tools to track client interactions, preferences and purchase history for targeted outreach and relationship management.
- Identify and pursue business development opportunities to expand the store’s client base and market presence.
- Ensure excellence in retail operations.
- Participate in cross-functional store activities, including visual merchandising, stock management and POS systems.
- Follow guidelines to ensure compliant processes and store security.
Qualifications
- Three years of proven experience in luxury retail sales, preferably in jewelry or high-end fashion.
- Exceptional sales acumen and a track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets.
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build relationships and credibility with clients from diverse backgrounds.
- Excellent verbal and written communication and storytelling skills; fluency in multiple languages is preferred.
- Proficiency in CRM software and strong clienteling skills.
