Role & Responsibilities

  • Deliver exceptional, personalized luxury retail experiences that reflect Boucheron's heritage and positioning as a premier high jewelry maison
  • Achieve and consistently exceed monthly and annual sales targets (minimum ¥100 million annually) through consultative selling and client engagement
  • Master and execute the complete sales methodology: greeting, discovery and understanding, conviction, closing, and relationship development
  • Develop and maintain meaningful client relationships using CRM tools (DCC, MyCat, and similar platforms) to drive clientelling initiatives and secure repeat business
  • Demonstrate comprehensive product knowledge across high jewelry, fine watchmaking, and seasonal collections to ensure clients receive expert guidance
  • Tailor sales approach based on client needs, purchasing motivation, and market insights; address objections and resolve complaints with professionalism
  • Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and industry developments to maintain competitive awareness
  • Participate in daily boutique operations including inventory verification, visual merchandising, stock organization, and maintenance
  • Support irregular operations such as inventory audits, compliance reviews, price changes, and merchandising initiatives
  • Manage customer service inquiries and administrative duties; proactively propose operational improvements

Qualifications

  • Demonstrated excellence in luxury retail or high-end clienteling with a track record of exceeding sales targets
  • Mastery of CRM platforms and digital tools used in luxury retail environments
  • In-depth knowledge of high jewelry, fine watches, or related luxury categories
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to engage discerning clientele
  • GIA Gemological Institute of America certification (G.G.) or professional jewelry credentials (preferred)
  • Fluency in Japanese and English, with additional languages advantageous
