Role & Responsibilities

  • Conduct risk analyses and pilot associated corrective action plans during product development
  • Guarantee product conformity at launch with Maison quality requirements and standards
  • Communicate quality expectations to suppliers and quality control teams to ensure compliance
  • Detect and alert on deviations during pre-series and first production phases
  • Execute or supervise prototype and PRS controls and inspections
  • Lead and animate quality task forces across internal departments
  • Monitor ongoing product life series quality on ranges and manage associated issues
  • Communicate quality alerts and non-conformities to suppliers and escalate as needed
  • Prepare for and participate in high-jewelry events, launches, presentations, and trade shows
  • Deploy presentation, handling, and fitting standards across retail and market operations
  • Address market complaints on inventory and develop collaborative action plans with Retail and central Quality
  • Monitor stock quality during rebalancing campaigns and track sales performance on new launches
  • Deploy early detection protocols to identify market quality issues and provide customer feedback
  • Train Retail teams on fine jewelry-specific quality best practices and handling procedures
  • Make decisions on complex cases including damage assessment, rotation protocols, and repair arbitration
  • Prioritize strategic files involving VIP clients, urgent commercial matters, and high-value pieces
  • Escalate locally sensitive quality situations through appropriate channels
  • Facilitate root-cause analyses with external partners and manufacturing facilities
  • Define and pilot supplier corrective action plans and monitor completion

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent (minimum Bac+5) in Quality, Engineering, or related field
  • Minimum 5 years of confirmed quality experience, ideally in luxury, jewelry, or high-end manufacturing with subcontracting operations
  • Demonstrated leadership, rigor, and attention to detail
  • Professional-level English proficiency
  • Willingness to travel regularly across Europe and globally

Education

Upper secondary education plus 5 years of advanced study (Bac+5) or equivalent professional certification in Quality, Engineering, or a closely related discipline.
