Boucheron Quality Control Inspector, Paris, 6-month fixed-term contract in luxury jewelry and watches quality assurance.
Role & Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive quality control inspections of jewelry and horology pieces, identifying defects in weight, gemstones, metalwork, and construction
- Manage digital workflows, documentation systems, and archival protocols for quality data
- Conduct on-site supplier quality assessments and product inspections as required
- Execute metal hallmarking and manage legal precious metal testing procedures
- Coordinate repair logistics including preparation of shipments, inspection of returns, data entry, and documentation management
- Track repair file status in coordination with sales administration
- Contribute to the development and refinement of quality control procedures
- Validate new product designs and collections for quality standards
- Participate in central inventory activities including physical stock counts and audits
Qualifications
- Technical knowledge of fine jewelry and horology craftsmanship
- Manual dexterity and acute visual acuity
- Rigor, concentration capacity, precision, integrity, and discretion
- Strong oral and written communication skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft Word and Excel
- Ideal prior experience with ERP systems
