Boucheron seeks a Public Relations & Events Intern in Shanghai — internship supporting PR, media relations and event execution across Greater China.
Role & Responsibilities
- Support the planning and on-site execution of press, client and brand events across Greater China, including logistics, vendor coordination and guest management.
- Draft and proofread press materials, event briefs, guest communications and basic press releases adapted for local media channels.
- Maintain and update media and influencer lists; liaise with journalists, agencies and partners to coordinate interviews, product loans and coverage.
- Monitor media coverage and social engagement; compile regular clipping reports and post-event summaries for internal stakeholders.
- Assist digital and marketing teams to ensure consistent message alignment across online channels and event-related content.
- Perform administrative tasks supporting the PR team: expense reporting, scheduling, asset management and database upkeep.
Qualifications
- Current student or recent graduate in communications, public relations, marketing, journalism or a related discipline.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with meticulous attention to tone and accuracy; drafting experience preferred.
- Practical interest or prior internship experience in PR, events or communications within luxury, fashion or lifestyle brands is advantageous.
- Fluent Mandarin and English (written and spoken); additional regional language skills are a plus.
- Organised, resourceful and comfortable working in fast-paced, deadline-driven environments.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and familiarity with social media platforms used in Greater China (WeChat, Weibo) is desirable.
