Boucheron — Paris: Press & Influence Assistant (6‑month internship) to support press relations, influencer campaigns and events.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Serve as the primary day‑to‑day contact for press agencies, journalists and stylists (handling shoot requests, providing visuals and captions, sending lookbooks and creating media packages).
  • Coordinate activities with internal stakeholders and external partners (PR agencies, retail, security, stock and import‑export teams).
  • Support preparation of press reporting and presentations (weekly press review, results tracking and executive summaries).
  • Monitor, analyse and valorise press coverage and media impact; maintain competitive press watch.
  • Maintain and update the press contact database and the stylist/agent database for influencer and celebrity outreach.
  • Assist in organising press events and presentations of new collections, including logistics and on‑site support.
  • Contribute to influencer campaigns and celebrity dressing: preparing lookbooks, participating in fittings and managing loan logistics.
  • Provide ad hoc support to Events & VIC Care for high jewellery events and bespoke client experiences, coordinating suppliers and customised guest treatment.

Qualifications

  • Enrollment in or recent graduate of a recognised marketing, communications or journalism programme.
  • At least one successful internship or early professional experience in press relations and/or influencer management (in‑house, agency or press office).
  • Solid understanding of media and influencer ecosystems, with a sensitivity to the specificities of the luxury and fashion markets.
  • Fluent English (spoken and written) is essential.
  • Demonstrated discretion, strong interpersonal skills and diplomatic judgement when liaising with media, agencies and VIPs.
