Boucheron seeks a PR Intern in Shanghai to support press relations, events and communications across China.
Role & Responsibilities
- Support local press relations: maintain media lists, draft and distribute press materials and follow up with journalists and editors.
- Assist planning and execution of brand events and product launches in China, including logistics, invitations, guest lists and on‑site coordination.
- Monitor traditional and social media; compile daily/weekly media clippings and report on share of voice and coverage quality.
- Draft and translate clear, brand‑compliant copy for press releases, media kits, email communications and internal briefs.
- Coordinate with external PR agencies, photographers and production vendors to ensure timely delivery of assets and adherence to brand standards.
- Provide administrative support to the Communications team, including calendaring, expense tracking and asset management.
Qualifications
- Currently enrolled in or recently graduated from a degree programme in Communications, Public Relations, Marketing, Journalism or a related discipline.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to produce concise, media‑ready copy.
- Organised, proactive and able to manage multiple priorities under tight deadlines in a high‑standards luxury environment.
- Interest in luxury jewellery, fashion and cultural programming; discretion and professional presentation required.
Skills
Experience
Internship or up to one year of experience in PR, communications, events or agency support preferred; demonstrable interest in luxury or fashion communications.
Education
Currently enrolled in or recently completed a bachelor's degree in Communications, Public Relations, Marketing, Journalism or a related field.
