The Methods Engineering Intern works with a Methods Engineer and the wider Methods team, focusing on technical product data and supporting projects across production, product development, jewellery expertise, quality and purchasing. The internship includes technical file preparation, information management, supplier and stakeholder coordination, and support for production lifecycle, new product and continuous improvement initiatives.
Role & Responsibilities
- Recover and analyse product technical data shared by production workshops to compile complete, reliable technical files.
- Apply and maintain the information storage and access solution currently being implemented.
- Work with the network and PLM.
- Communicate regularly with European suppliers based abroad.
- Liaise with internal stakeholders on methods-related projects.
- Support methods engineers on occasional projects and assignments related to production lifecycle, new products and continuous improvement.
Qualifications
- Currently preparing for an engineering qualification, ideally in mechanical engineering or an equivalent technical discipline.
- Interest in jewellery or manufacturing techniques for metal components.
- Command of spoken and written English, and bilingual French.
- Structured, organised and rigorous.
- Proactive and autonomous, with intellectual curiosity.
- Knowledge of a CAD tool and ability to interpret technical drawings.
- Power BI and AI experience is an advantage.
