Boucheron Logistics Manager role in Tokyo. Lead supply chain operations, e-commerce fulfillment, and team management in luxury jewelry logistics.
Role & Responsibilities
- Oversee and execute daily logistics operations including receiving, storage, shipping, and distribution across domestic channels
- Manage retail distribution, store orders, and wholesale shipments, ensuring timely and accurate fulfillment
- Optimize warehouse organization, inventory control, stock management, and reverse logistics processes
- Develop and scale e-commerce fulfillment operations, including direct-to-customer shipments and omnichannel delivery models
- Drive end-to-end internal logistics optimization for inter-store transfers, customer orders, and after-sales flows
- Monitor and analyze logistics KPIs, identify operational bottlenecks, and translate insights into actionable improvement plans
- Lead logistics transformation initiatives including process digitalization, direct shipment models, and network optimization
- Ensure quality control, regulatory compliance, and proper handling of inbound goods, returns, and defective merchandise
- Lead, develop, and mentor the logistics team while fostering cross-functional collaboration with Retail, Finance, Marketing, and Customer Service
- Manage relationships with external partners including 3PLs, transportation providers, and customs brokers
Qualifications
- Proven track record in logistics, supply chain, or warehouse management
- Strong leadership experience managing teams and coordinating across multiple stakeholder groups
- Demonstrated analytical capability with proficiency in data-driven decision-making
- Excellent problem-solving skills with ability to assess complex operational situations and act decisively
- Advanced proficiency in Excel including Pivot Tables and data analysis
- Experience with ERP systems such as SAP, M3, or equivalent platforms
- Business-level English fluency with independent communication capability
Skills
Experience
Proven experience in logistics, supply chain, or warehouse management with demonstrated success leading teams and managing complex operations. Experience in e-commerce and omnichannel logistics is highly valued. Background in process reengineering or supply chain transformation is preferred.
Education
Secondary education required; bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or related field is preferred.
