Boucheron seeks an International Merchandiser for Jewelry & Watches to join its Paris office; manage global assortments and collaborate with regional teams.
Role & Responsibilities
- Analyse the performance of merchandising KPIs and create or improve monitoring tools to track global performance indicators
- Identify growth levers and sales opportunities across all regional markets
- Monitor product launches and shortages, collaborating with Marketing, Supply Chain, and Visual Merchandising teams
- Define assortment strategies by boutique in collaboration with regional teams to ensure optimal product representation and operational efficiency
- Propose agile assortment reviews based on market trends and regional performance
- Oversee the management of end-of-life product liquidation across all markets
- Maintain the health of global stock indicators and inventory levels
- Serve as the primary point of contact for regional merchandising teams on all department-related matters
- Support and guide the ambitions and action plans of regional teams
- Lead collaborative forecasting sessions with regional stakeholders
- Ensure compliance with global merchandising guidelines across all regions
- Participate in international sales forecasting sessions and S&OP preparations
- Coordinate visibility and presentation of new creations with the Visual Merchandising team
- Manage one alternating employee whose primary focus will be building and updating global business reporting and monitoring tools, and collecting feedback from worldwide regions
Qualifications
- 3 years of experience in Merchandising in a Central or Regional function
- Excellent analytical skills and advanced proficiency with Excel and Microsoft Office Suite
- Demonstrated knowledge and passion for jewelry and/or horology industry
- Autonomous, entrepreneurial mindset with a solution and results-driven approach
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Excellent interpersonal and team collaboration skills, with experience managing cross-functional communication across different stakeholders
- Fluent in English and French
- Knowledge of Anaplan, Microstrategy, and Power BI is a plus
