Boucheron is hiring an HR Intern in Shanghai — HR Operations internship supporting employee administration, onboarding and HR queries.
Role & Responsibilities
- Serve as the first point of contact for HR-related queries from employees, HR Business Partners and external partners, logging and routing requests appropriately.
- Provide day-to-day HR administrative support including maintenance of personnel files, data entry and document preparation for onboarding and offboarding processes.
- Assist with the preparation and administration of employment contracts, letters and HR correspondence in compliance with local labour regulations.
- Update and reconcile HR records and reports; support periodic HR reporting and ad hoc data requests from HRBP and management.
- Coordinate with payroll, recruitment and operations teams to ensure timely processing of HR actions and accurate employee data.
- Support organisation of employee events, training logistics and internal communications related to HR initiatives.
- Maintain confidentiality and ensure compliance with data protection and local employment law in all HR activities.
Qualifications
- Currently enrolled in or recently graduated from a bachelor’s or master’s programme in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Strong organisational skills with meticulous attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple administrative tasks concurrently.
- High degree of discretion and professionalism when handling confidential employee information.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills and a service-oriented mindset.
- Proactive problem-solving aptitude and willingness to learn within a fast-paced luxury environment.
Skills
Experience
No prior professional experience required; previous internships or administrative experience in HR, luxury retail or customer-facing environments is advantageous. Demonstrated interest in HR processes, employment administration and compliance is preferred.
Education
Pursuing or recently completed a degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology or a related discipline.
