Boucheron HR Business Partner position in Tokyo, Japan. Strategic HR advisory role supporting organizational growth and talent management.
Role & Responsibilities
- Advise business leaders on organizational capabilities, structures, and processes aligned with corporate strategy, functioning as an HR strategic partner
- Manage internal transfers and cross-functional mobility while administering staffing transitions, including terminations and redundancy management, with attention to legal compliance
- Lead graduate recruitment initiatives and support recruitment efforts for candidates with disabilities
- Implement performance management practices in accordance with central and regional guidelines, coaching managers through annual cycles and advising on performance issues
- Establish and conduct annual Career Committee assessments to evaluate employee potential, succession planning, and talent identification; maintain and update succession data in Workday
- Drive employee relations initiatives and change management programs, fostering transparent communication and addressing employee and management concerns across all organizational levels
Qualifications
- Demonstrated experience as an HR Business Partner or equivalent strategic HR advisory role
- Proficiency in HR information systems, particularly Workday
- Strong understanding of Japanese employment law and labor relations
- Experience with performance management, talent development, and succession planning in a multi-level organization
- Proven ability to partner effectively with senior business leadership
Skills
Experience
5-7 years of progressive experience in human resources roles, with at least 3 years in a business partner or strategic HR advisory capacity. Prior experience in luxury goods, automotive, or multinational organizations is preferred.
Education
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Organizational Psychology, or a related discipline. SHRM certification or equivalent HR professional credential is advantageous.
