Boucheron internship: Gemstone Project Coordinator, Paris. 3–6 months from September 2026.
Role & Responsibilities
- Participate in developing gemstone quotations by researching and proposing options, establishing budgets, and defining procurement specifications
- Contribute to gemstone purchasing processes through supplier liaison and workshop coordination until collection delivery
- Coordinate information exchange between suppliers and manufacturing workshops
- Maintain and update gemstone costing records and financial tracking
- Manage gemstone certification processes and documentation
- Update PLM (Product Lifecycle Management) systems with certification details and traceability information
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or higher (Bac+2 to Bac+5), ideally with specialization in gemology
- Demonstrated passion for fine jewelry, jewelry craftsmanship, and manufacturing processes
- Strong organizational rigor and meticulous attention to detail
- Excellent analytical and synthesis capabilities
- Fluent English proficiency, both written and oral
- Advanced Excel proficiency including spreadsheet creation, tracking, and dashboard analysis
Skills
Experience
Experience in jewelry procurement, gemstone sourcing, or luxury goods supply chain management is advantageous but not mandatory for this internship role.
Education
Bachelor's degree or equivalent (Bac+2 to Bac+5), ideally with specialization in gemology or jewelry-related disciplines.
