Boucheron seeks a Finance Manager in Seoul to oversee accounting, internal control, month‑end close and reporting, liaising with Kering FSSC and HQ.
Role & Responsibilities
- Act as the brand’s finance ambassador, coordinating closely with Kering Finance Shared Service Center (FSSC) and HQ Controlling to ensure accurate monthly and annual closings.
- Review and validate pre-close, during-close and post-close data (initial P&L and balance sheet, store-level submissions, margin/rent/commission/depreciation variances) and drive corrective actions with FSSC.
- Perform monthly balance sheet reconciliations and cash‑flow checks; identify and resolve accounting imbalances and special case treatments.
- Support tax return and tax audit preparation, brand allocation cost reviews and other statutory/compliance deliverables.
- Design, support and roll out internal control policies and procedures; deliver training and follow up on compliance points.
- Coordinate budget and forecast processes: prepare initial data, verify FSSC submissions, support CAPEX and large-expenditure pre‑controls (including EVA preparation).
- Monitor monthly spending and cost-saving initiatives; produce ad‑hoc financial analyses and reports for brand stakeholders.
- Manage finance-related projects and improvements, including ERP/HFM system use and optimisation to facilitate processes and maintain records.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a finance manager or in an equivalent finance leadership role, ideally within retail or luxury goods.
- Fluent English (written and spoken) — mandatory for regular communication with FSSC and HQ.
- Solid knowledge of IFRS and GAAP and practical experience with month‑end close, financial reporting and reconciliations.
- Demonstrable experience implementing and monitoring internal control frameworks and supporting audits.
- Strong analytical aptitude, attention to detail and problem‑solving skills; ability to prioritise and manage multiple stakeholders.
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance or a related field preferred; professional accounting qualification advantageous but not mandatory.

Proven, hands‑on experience in a finance management role with responsibility for month‑end and year‑end closing, balance sheet reconciliations, budgeting/forecasting, internal control implementation, tax and audit support, and coordination with shared service centres and HQ finance teams.
Education
Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance or related field preferred; professional accounting certification (e.g., ACCA, CPA) is an advantage but not mandatory.
