Role & Responsibilities

• Lead full ownership and coordination of monthly, quarterly, and annual closing processes in collaboration with local and European finance teams
• Prepare and review monthly accruals including tax accruals, and ensure compliance with IFRS and statutory requirements
• Prepare reporting packages for regional and Group Finance leadership with supervision of intercompany reconciliations
• Conduct monthly cost control, variance analysis, ad hoc financial analysis, and scenario planning
• Develop budgets, forecasts, and business plans for newly created joint ventures
• Serve as primary finance contact and liaison for joint venture partners on monthly reporting, budget/forecast follow-up, and board materials preparation
• Act as Compliance Officer for the region, ensuring adherence to local regulations and Group policies
• Coordinate tax filings, payments, and auditor relationships
• Support business partners across retail, HR, marketing, communications, and logistics functions
• Manage and support the logistics and operations team to ensure efficient regional workflows
• Lead finance projects and process improvements initiatives
• Review financial statements and support audit and license renewal processes

Qualifications

• Previous experience as an accountant or controller in retail or luxury retail business with demonstrated career progression
• Knowledge of IFRS financial reporting standards
• Experience with Oracle HFM (Hyperion Financial Management) highly valued
• Prior experience supporting or leading integration activities including process mapping and continuous improvement
• Knowledge of SAP modules (BI/Controlling); Power BI or other BI tools advantageous
• Strong background in budgeting and strategic planning
• Excellent attention to detail with outstanding analytical capabilities
• Proactive self-starter with exceptional planning and deadline management skills
• Superior communication and interpersonal abilities
• Positive team player with agile, collaborative, and inclusive approach
• Sound decision-making skills with customer focus
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite, PowerPoint, and Excel
• Fluent in English (verbal and written)
