Boucheron Executive Sales Associate position in Osaka. Luxury jewelry sales role with ¥180M+ annual target and clienteling focus.
Role & Responsibilities
- Achieve annual sales target of ¥180 million+ through consistent monthly performance and consultative selling approaches tailored to client needs and motivations
- Cultivate personalized client relationships and develop prospect engagement capabilities, with a target of establishing one Platinum client relationship annually
- Master and execute the complete sales methodology: welcome, discovery and understanding, conviction, closing, and relationship development
- Deliver exceptional customer service through comprehensive product knowledge and sophisticated consultative techniques across all touchpoints
- Manage customer relations, process customer service requests, and respond smoothly to client negotiations and concerns
- Conduct daily boutique maintenance including inventory verification, merchandise display management, and stockroom organization
- Lead new staff and junior associate training and development initiatives
- Participate actively in non-scheduled inventory audits, price changes, and compliance audits
- Identify and communicate operational improvement recommendations to management
- Monitor industry trends and competitive intelligence, sharing insights with the team
- Maintain strict adherence to all maison and group policies, regulations, and operational guidelines
Qualifications
- Demonstrated excellence in luxury retail sales, preferably in jewelry or high-end fashion
- Proven ability to develop and maintain high-value client portfolios
- Mastery of consultative and solutions-oriented sales techniques
- Strong understanding of customer needs analysis and purchase motivation
- Leadership and mentoring experience with junior staff members
- Familiarity with jewelry-related certifications such as GIA G.G. or Jewelry Coordinator qualifications is strongly preferred
Skills
Experience
Minimum 3-5 years of progressive retail sales experience in luxury goods, with demonstrated track record of achieving significant sales targets and building high-value client relationships. Prior experience in fine jewelry retail or haute couture environments is preferred.
Education
High school diploma or equivalent required; retail management certification or luxury goods training programs are valued.
