Boucheron seeks an Executive Sales Associate in Fukuoka to deliver luxury client experiences, achieve ¥180M+ annual sales targets, and lead clienteling excellence.
Role & Responsibilities
- Serve as a brand ambassador and embody Boucheron's heritage and values across all customer interactions
- Consistently achieve monthly and annual sales targets (minimum ¥180 million annually) through strategic selling and consultative approaches
- Provide exceptional customer service grounded in comprehensive product knowledge and sophisticated sales techniques, from greeting through post-sale development
- Build and cultivate personalized client relationships; establish connections with prospective clientele and develop at least one established diamond-tier client relationship
- Master and apply a structured five-step sales process: welcome, discovery and understanding, persuasion, close, and relationship development
- Tailor sales approaches to individual customer needs and purchasing motivations; address negotiations and customer concerns with professionalism
- Monitor industry trends and competitive intelligence; share relevant market insights with the team
- Participate in daily boutique maintenance including inventory verification, visual merchandising, and stockroom organization
- Actively participate in periodic inventory audits, compliance reviews, and price change procedures
- Mentor and support the development of new team members and junior associates
- Champion operational improvements and process enhancements within the boutique
- Manage customer service reception duties and handle inquiries with care and professionalism
Qualifications
- Demonstrated excellence in luxury retail sales with a proven track record of exceeding revenue targets
- Advanced clienteling capabilities with ability to develop deep, personalized relationships with high-value clients
- Comprehensive knowledge of fine jewelry, high jewelry, and watchmaking collections
- Strong command of sales techniques and consultative selling methodologies
- Excellent negotiation and complaint resolution skills
- GIA G.G. (Graduate Gemologist) certification or equivalent jewelry/gemology credential preferred
- Jewelry Coordinator certification or similar professional qualifications in luxury jewelry preferred
Skills
Experience
Proven background in luxury retail sales, preferably within fine jewelry, haute joaillerie, watchmaking, or comparable high-end sectors. Demonstrated success in consistently meeting and exceeding individual sales targets, building high-value client relationships, and taking on mentorship responsibilities within a luxury boutique environment.
Education
Secondary education minimum; tertiary-level education or luxury retail management training is advantageous.
