Role & Responsibilities

  • Communicate import clearance instructions to RDEs.
  • Verify information on declarations and request corrections when necessary.
  • Prepare import customs declarations (future implementation by 2028/2029).
  • Prepare export customs declarations.
  • Monitor ECS Exit processes.
  • Manage special customs regimes, including updating material accounts and tracking deadlines and clearances.
  • Oversee ATA Carnets, including tracking and deadline management.
  • Assemble and archive document files.
  • Ensure compliance with customs practices within Boucheron SAS to prevent inappropriate or fraudulent practices.
  • Advise internal departments on customs-related issues.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Customs or related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience as a customs declarant or in a similar role.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills for interaction with teams, company departments, and RDEs.
  • High level of precision and organizational skills for document inspection and managing multiple dossiers simultaneously.
  • Ability to identify and alert on risks.
  • Dynamic and motivational presence for team collaboration.
  • Proactive in proposing process improvements.

Skills

Proficient in spoken and written English. Expertise in customs clearance tools. Experience with ERP systems and a solid understanding of their essential functions.

Experience

At least 5 years of experience in customs declaration or a similar position.

Education

Bachelor's degree in Customs or related field.
