Boucheron — New York: Communications Intern. $21/hr. Support PR, events, press, influencer and editorial initiatives for the Americas Communications team.
Role & Responsibilities
- Support execution of press, influencer, retail and wholesale events, including vendor research, creating face sheets, updating event briefs and onsite logistical assistance.
- Prepare and manage event materials: packing for trunk shows, creating visual merchandising planograms, and maintaining an organized events closet.
- Provide administrative and logistical support for press activities: scanning, filing and tracking press clips and maintaining physical print magazine archives.
- Assist in creation and refresh of lookbooks for editorial and dressing requests and pull PR stock for returns and receiving.
- Maintain and update press, talent and media databases and assist with media list generation.
- Track departmental invoices and payment statuses and assist with merchandise request workflows by researching product references and imagery.
- Communicate with retail stores on rebalancing plans issued by merchandising and support cross‑functional alignment to ensure brand consistency.
- Conduct monthly competitive market research on product launches, price changes, window installations and online merchandising strategies.
- Assist with scheduling team meetings and take minutes to document action items and follow‑up.
Qualifications
- Currently enrolled student, preferably in Public Relations, Marketing, Communications or a related field.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office (PowerPoint, Excel, Word), Outlook and Adobe applications.
- Excellent attention to detail, time management, organization and follow‑through.
- Outstanding written, verbal and presentation skills.
- Knowledge of the luxury and fashion industry is strongly preferred.
- Proactive, enthusiastic self‑starter able to engage effectively at all levels and adapt to last‑minute requests.
- Demonstrated tact and discretion when handling confidential information.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and manage multiple concurrent tasks.
Skills
Experience
Currently enrolled in a relevant undergraduate or graduate program; prior exposure to PR, events, editorial or retail communications is desirable but not required. The role requires practical experience supporting administrative and logistical activities within a communications or events context.
Education
Active student status required — preferably studying Public Relations, Marketing, Communications or a related discipline.

Compensation
The base compensation for this position is USD 21 per hour.
