Role & Responsibilities
- Define and execute the commercial strategy for China across retail, wholesale and e‑commerce to achieve revenue and margin targets.
- Own P&L performance for the market; set sales plans, monitor KPIs and drive corrective actions across channels.
- Coordinate store operations to ensure optimal stock levels, merchandising, service standards and flawless client experiences.
- Lead inventory allocation, replenishment and flow of product between distribution channels in partnership with supply chain and merchandising.
- Sponsor and manage store projects (opening/closing hours, renovations, relocations), coordinating cross‑functional teams and ensuring delivery within deadline and budget.
- Develop and implement omnichannel initiatives that integrate CRM, clienteling and digital touchpoints with in‑store activity.
- Build and coach a high‑performance commercial organisation; recruit, develop and align retail, wholesale and e‑commerce leaders.
- Negotiate and manage key commercial partnerships and wholesale accounts; oversee pricing, promotional and markdown strategies aligned with brand positioning.
Qualifications
- Proven ability to lead commercial strategy for a luxury or high‑jewellery brand in China; demonstrated success driving multi‑channel sales and margin.
- Strong financial acumen with hands‑on P&L ownership, forecasting and KPI management.
- Deep knowledge of luxury retail operations, inventory management and merchandising principles.
- Demonstrated experience managing cross‑functional projects and stakeholder alignment (merchandising, supply chain, marketing, legal).
- Excellent leadership and people development skills; experience building and scaling teams across retail and wholesale.
- Fluent Mandarin and strong business English (inferred as essential for stakeholder management across China and international HQ).

Minimum eight years of progressive experience in luxury retail, wholesale or omnichannel commercial roles, with prior responsibility for P&L, multi‑channel sales and leading cross‑functional teams in China.
Education
Bachelor’s degree in business, management, luxury brand management or related discipline; MBA or advanced degree preferred.
