Role & Responsibilities

  • Define and execute the commercial strategy for China across retail, wholesale and e‑commerce to achieve revenue and margin targets.
  • Own P&L performance for the market; set sales plans, monitor KPIs and drive corrective actions across channels.
  • Coordinate store operations to ensure optimal stock levels, merchandising, service standards and flawless client experiences.
  • Lead inventory allocation, replenishment and flow of product between distribution channels in partnership with supply chain and merchandising.
  • Sponsor and manage store projects (opening/closing hours, renovations, relocations), coordinating cross‑functional teams and ensuring delivery within deadline and budget.
  • Develop and implement omnichannel initiatives that integrate CRM, clienteling and digital touchpoints with in‑store activity.
  • Build and coach a high‑performance commercial organisation; recruit, develop and align retail, wholesale and e‑commerce leaders.
  • Negotiate and manage key commercial partnerships and wholesale accounts; oversee pricing, promotional and markdown strategies aligned with brand positioning.

Qualifications

  • Proven ability to lead commercial strategy for a luxury or high‑jewellery brand in China; demonstrated success driving multi‑channel sales and margin.
  • Strong financial acumen with hands‑on P&L ownership, forecasting and KPI management.
  • Deep knowledge of luxury retail operations, inventory management and merchandising principles.
  • Demonstrated experience managing cross‑functional projects and stakeholder alignment (merchandising, supply chain, marketing, legal).
  • Excellent leadership and people development skills; experience building and scaling teams across retail and wholesale.
  • Fluent Mandarin and strong business English (inferred as essential for stakeholder management across China and international HQ).
