Boucheron is hiring a Client Advisor — High Jewelry in Tokyo. Deliver exceptional client experiences, drive sales and manage boutique operations.
Role & Responsibilities
- Act as an ambassador of the maison: embody brand values and deliver an exceptional, coherent brand experience across every customer touchpoint.
- Achieve individual sales targets and contribute to boutique results; consistently meet monthly objectives and support an annual sales KPI (role expectations indicate performance at a high revenue level).
- Guide clients through the full buying journey using brand-standard sales process (welcome, discovery, understanding, agreement, development) and convert prospects into loyal customers.
- Deliver personalised clientelling: maintain and develop relationships with clients and prospects using PCRM tools (e.g., DCC, MyCat) and tailored outreach.
- Provide high standards of product knowledge for jewellery and watches to advise on craftsmanship, gemstones and styling.
- Handle negotiations and customer complaints with diplomacy and professionalism to secure satisfaction and preserve client relationships.
- Execute boutique operational duties: headcount checks, visual merchandising and display maintenance, back‑stock organisation, inventory counts, audits and price updates.
- Receive and manage customer service (CS) requests and support continuous improvement initiatives for boutique operations.
Qualifications
- Demonstrable intellectual curiosity and eagerness to learn about product, craft and client service.
- Strong client needs analysis and commercial acumen with the ability to prioritise in a fast-paced boutique environment.
- Resilience and adaptability to changing conditions; capacity to multitask while maintaining attention to detail.
- Professional jewellery qualifications (e.g., GIA Graduate Gemologist, Jewellery Coordinator) are advantageous.

Experience
Proven track record in luxury retail selling, preferably within high jewellery or watch boutiques, with consistent achievement of monthly and annual sales targets and experience managing high‑value client relationships.
Education
High school diploma or equivalent; vocational training in retail or jewellery recommended. Professional jewellery certifications (e.g., GIA G.G.) are a strong advantage.
