Boucheron seeks a Business Analyst in Paris to drive jewelry market analysis, sales forecasting, and strategic business intelligence.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Monitor daily business activity through sales analysis and KPI tracking (revenue, innovation rates, advancement metrics), updating sales forecasts and three-year strategic plans in collaboration with the department head
  • Prepare and deliver monthly sales analysis presentations and business review reporting to leadership
  • Develop and optimize global performance dashboards and BI/Excel data visualizations in coordination with the Management Information System team
  • Define, track, and create KPIs to measure performance of engagement initiatives and identify improvement opportunities; establish data governance frameworks
  • Collaborate closely with CRM data teams and MIS to develop business intelligence and analytics capabilities that standardize data usage across departments
  • Lead the network of data analysts across MIS and regional markets through training, support, knowledge sharing, and cross-functional collaboration
  • Conduct ad hoc analyses of sales and inventory activity; identify performance optimization levers
  • Monitor sales forecasts and maintain tracking files; participate in forecast review sessions and provide recommendations aligned with product strategy
  • Maintain strategic competitive price positioning intelligence; support annual pricing reviews through competitor analysis and market benchmarking
  • Serve as key user on PowerBI, Microstrategy, Teams, Excel, Upslide, and Lemon Learning; design Anaplan dashboards with MIS support
  • Train new international marketing product collaborators on analytics tools and best practices
  • Contribute to company-wide transformation projects and ad hoc product reference updates for cross-functional needs such as e-commerce

Qualifications

  • Degree from an engineering school or business school
  • 3–5 years of professional experience in an analytical and dynamic environment
  • Deep expertise in analyzing large volumes of data and understanding luxury industry performance challenges
  • Demonstrated operational excellence including autonomy, proactivity, rigor, agility, and strategic thinking
  • Recognized analytical capabilities and strong communication skills with ability to engage diverse stakeholders
  • Advanced proficiency in Excel (formulas, data modeling)
  • Proficiency in SQL query formulation and Business Intelligence platforms
  • Hands-on experience building dashboards and data visualizations in PowerBI
  • Fluent in French and English (spoken and written)
  • Curiosity, data-driven mindset, and aptitude for constructing dashboards and analytics tools
