Boucheron seeks experienced Boutique Manager in Tokyo to lead luxury retail operations, team development, and client experience delivery.
Role & Responsibilities
- Lead and manage all boutique operations to optimize performance, revenue, and client experience, serving as the visible embodiment of the Boucheron brand
- Develop and execute dynamic annual and monthly action plans based on rigorous analysis of boutique performance, staff competencies, and market conditions to achieve boutique and maison KPIs
- Recruit, mentor, and develop team members through structured career conversations and action plans; foster succession planning and maintain high organizational standards
- Oversee sales processes, record management, inventory, equipment maintenance, and adherence to company policies, guidelines, and compliance protocols
- Implement strategic CRM analysis and actions in collaboration with retail and marketing teams to identify business opportunities, design and execute events, and cultivate client relationships, particularly VIC and ambassador relationships
- Schedule boutique operations, assign staff roles, and provide timely performance feedback aligned with business objectives
- Enhance customer satisfaction through the delivery of Boucheron's selling ceremony experience and uphold visual merchandising standards
- Ensure workplace safety, health, and welfare; combat excessive working hours, harassment, and promote diversity and inclusion initiatives
Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years of management experience within the luxury industry with deep expertise in luxury retail
- Logical and analytical mindset capable of forecasting and strategic planning
- Acute sensitivity to retail excellence and strong business acumen
- Entrepreneurial spirit combined with genuine commitment to teamwork
- High flexibility and ability to generate creative ideas whilst working independently
- Professional integrity and demonstrated commitment to compliance and workplace regulations
- Gemological qualification (preferred)
Skills
Experience
Minimum 5 years of management experience in the luxury sector, with demonstrated expertise in luxury retail operations, team leadership, and customer experience delivery.
Education
