Boucheron Boutique Manager position in Fukuoka, Japan. Lead luxury retail operations, drive sales performance, and manage exceptional client experiences.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute actionable career and development plans for team members in collaboration with retail management, training teams, and HR; mentor successors and foster a culture of continuous learning
  • Deliver timely, transparent feedback and conduct performance evaluations at appropriate intervals to support staff accountability and professional growth
  • Recruit and onboard talent aligned with organizational long-term stability and growth objectives
  • Ensure workplace safety and health compliance; eliminate harassment; promote diversity and inclusion; address excessive working hours and operational improvements
  • Define and review dynamic annual and monthly action plans based on rigorous analysis of boutique performance, staff competencies, and market conditions to achieve maison and boutique KPIs
  • Optimize boutique performance and profitability through strategic workforce planning, scheduling, and role allocation
  • Plan schedules, assign specific boutique roles to team members, and provide coaching and performance feedback at appropriate times
  • Enhance customer satisfaction through Boucheron's selling ceremony and elevated service protocols
  • Manage sales and record-keeping processes in accordance with company policies and guidelines
  • Maintain boutique infrastructure, fixtures, and equipment to ensure optimal condition and aesthetic presentation
  • Conduct CRM analysis and execute timely, demand-driven actions in partnership with retail and CRM management
  • Collaborate actively with internal functions (retail, marketing, operations) and external partners to identify new business opportunities, design and execute targeted events, and develop actionable insights for future initiatives
  • Establish and cultivate strategic client relationships, particularly with VICs, embodying the maison's brand values and positioning

Qualifications

  • Minimum 5 years of management experience within the luxury industry with demonstrated expertise in luxury retail operations
  • Logical and analytical thinking with capacity for forecasting and strategy development
  • Strong business acumen and heightened sensitivity to retail excellence and client experience
  • Entrepreneurial mindset with emphasis on teamwork; demonstrated enthusiasm and confidence in execution; ability to self-motivate
  • High adaptability and capacity to propose creative ideas and approaches while working independently
  • Demonstrated commitment to compliance, company policy adherence, and professional integrity
  • Gemology certification or formal credentials in jewelry knowledge (preferred)
