Boucheron seeks an Assistant PR & Event Manager in Seoul to lead press strategy, media relations, and event activations for the luxury jewelry maison.
Role & Responsibilities
- Develop and execute seasonal press strategies aligned with global communication priorities and local market objectives
- Build and maintain relationships with key fashion, jewelry, watch, and lifestyle media contacts
- Identify and secure high-impact editorial opportunities to maximize media exposure and Media Impact Value (MIV)
- Manage collaboration with PR agencies to secure editorial placements and press relations opportunities
- Coordinate daily magazine shootings, editorial requests, and High Jewelry placements
- Manage magazine partnerships and editorial tie-ups, including jewelry lookbooks, product evaluations, and coverage reporting
- Support development of campaign PR plans for product launches and key collections
- Draft, adapt, and localize press releases, media alerts, and editorial briefs
- Coordinate press interviews, media opportunities, and feature placements with internal stakeholders
- Track press coverage, share of voice, and PR performance metrics using tools such as Launchmetrics
- Analyze media results and provide insights on editorial performance and competitor activity
- Prepare monthly PR performance reports in collaboration with agencies and press newsletters
- Oversee and manage monthly PR expenses and budget tracking through internal systems
- Support organization of PR events, including venue sourcing, production coordination, and private gatherings
- Draft and localize press releases and event communication materials
- Define media invitation lists and manage press invitations, RSVPs, and interview scheduling
- Coordinate press attendance and media flow during events, with comprehensive post-event coverage reports
Qualifications
- Degree in Communication, Marketing, or related field
- 8–10 years of solid experience in PR and event management, preferably within luxury, design, or hospitality environments
- Strong command of the luxury media ecosystem with well-established relationships across top-tier editors and key opinion leaders
- Proven ability to define and execute strategic press plans that deliver measurable results and high-value editorial placements
- Hands-on expertise in managing complex editorial workflows, from daily press requests to major campaign launches
- Highly structured and detail-driven approach, able to manage multiple priorities simultaneously with precision and speed
- Excellent written and spoken English; knowledge of additional languages is advantageous

8–10 years of professional experience in PR and event management, ideally within luxury brands, design houses, or high-end hospitality sectors. Demonstrated expertise in luxury media relations, editorial partnerships, and strategic press campaigns.
Education
Bachelor's degree in Communication, Marketing, Public Relations, or related discipline.
