Boucheron in Paris seeks an Assistant Methods Engineer (Alternance) — apprenticeship in Methods & continuous improvement, starting 1 Sept 2026.
Role & Responsibilities
- Collect, consolidate and analyse technical product data received from ateliers to produce complete, reliable technical dossiers.
- Implement, document and maintain the new technical data storage/rangement solution.
- Publish and share technical data across internal stakeholders; operate and update PLM entries.
- Work with the IT/network environment to ensure data accessibility and integrity.
- Drive continuous‑improvement projects to structure and professionalise Methods processes; identify opportunities, propose solutions and lead implementation.
- Support Methods Engineers on ad hoc projects related to life‑series production, product launches and improvement initiatives.
- Collaborate closely with Product Development, Jewellery Experts, Quality and Purchasing to ensure manufacturability and data consistency.
Qualifications
- Currently enrolled in or holder of an engineering degree in mechanical or industrial engineering.
- Structured, organised and rigorous approach to technical work and documentation.
- Interest in jewellery and metal fabrication techniques.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and adaptability for cross‑functional collaboration.
- Proactive, curious mindset with a problem‑solving orientation.
- Fluent written and spoken English.
- Proven ability to read technical drawings and apply mechanical design principles.
- Strong synthesis and written/oral reporting skills.

Experience
No specific professional seniority is required; prior internships, academic projects or practical exposure to manufacturing methods, CAD or product development are advantageous.
Education
Engineering degree in mechanical or industrial engineering (or current enrolment in an equivalent engineering programme).
