Role & Responsibilities

  • Co-lead the boutique with the Store Manager to maximise commercial performance and profitability through rigorous execution of KPIs, monthly/annual action plans and daily operational oversight.
  • Coach, develop and motivate boutique staff: translate the maison’s vision into individual and team objectives, design and implement personalised development plans with HR and training teams, and support recruitment to secure long-term talent stability.
  • Manage boutique operations and compliance: assume decision-making authority in the manager’s absence, enforce company policies and security procedures, oversee maintenance of fixtures and inventory records, and drive continuous improvement of store processes.
  • Plan and allocate shift schedules and role assignments to ensure optimal coverage and service levels while monitoring working conditions, safety and wellbeing.
  • Lead clienteling and CRM-driven initiatives: perform CRM analysis, coordinate timely retail and marketing actions with CRM and Retail teams, design in-store events and follow up on outcomes to generate new business opportunities and deepen relationships with VICs and key clients.

Qualifications

  • Minimum three years of management experience in luxury retail with demonstrable knowledge of high-end clienteling and boutique operations.
  • Proven ability to translate analytical insight into tactical action plans that improve boutique performance and staff competency.
  • Strong commitment to compliance, professional standards and workplace wellbeing — able to enforce policies relating to health & safety, working hours and anti-harassment.
  • Demonstrable people-development experience: recruitment, succession planning, performance management and close collaboration with HR and training functions.
  • Gemology qualification is advantageous.
  • Required trainings include brand management curriculum, annual compliance & security training and participation in sustainability / D&I programmes as applicable.
